What is Life Coaching?

It is not therapy, it is co-creative process. We do not unpack the past. There is no authority figure and no dependence. The coach and client both use their knowledge, resources, skills and intuition to creatively problem solve. Coaching is considering new perspectives and possibilities for the future that may not have been considered.

“Yearning for a change that aligns with your faith and values?” “Seeking courage to live your best life?”, “Balancing career and family?” “Something has to give?” “Re-evaluate commitments?” “Want change but what does change look like?” “Time to change careers?”

I am committed to help clients grow beyond where they are today into a life that is a vibrant expression of who they really are – and what they want the future to look like. To know if coaching is for you, let’s schedule a 30-minute phone session to explore the possibility.

Julia Leeper, Certified Life Coach

What I DON’T DO as your Coach:

  • Diagnose or treat anything
  • Solve your problems for you
  • Do your work for you
  • “Fix” you or Judge you
  • Give you “hard” advice (e.g. legal, financial, etc.)
  • Take responsibility for you or your actions

What I DO as your Coach:

  • Listen openly and actively
  • Ask powerful questions that help you tap into your own wisdom
  • Reflect/mirror back to you – Offer different perspectives
  • Hold you accountable to what you tell me you want
  • Trust you to make your own decisions
  • Show up with your best interests at heart
  • Advocate for your highest intentions
  • Tell the truth that I see
  • Believe in you and your highest good.

What I ASK FROM YOU:

  • Tell the truth to me and to yourself
  • Be willing to stretch yourself
  • Approach challenges as opportunities for growth
  • Let me know if something isn’t working for you
  • Be open to new ideas and perspectives
  • Have fun and enjoy the process!

You can only help him to learn it within himself.
